Landmark University which is a Private Christian Mission University was established by the Living Faith Church Worldwide under the Visionary leadership of the Chancellor, Dr. David Oyedepo. The university is committed to raising global leaders equipped with skills and character to lead the world in meeting the needs of humanity. The university was officially commissioned on March 21, 2011 and commenced academic operations with a mandate to drive an Agrarian Revolution via her undergraduate programmes in the Colleges of Agricultural Sciences (CAS), Science and Engineering (CSE) and Business and Social Sciences (CBS). The vision of the university is ‘ To be a leading World-Class University, by spearheading an agrarian revolution on the African continent through the exploration of hidden treasures in the mother-earth thereby restoring the dignity of the Black race’. At the inception of the College of Agricultural Sciences in 2011, The David Oyedepo Foundation (DOF) gave scholarships to students of Agriculture and we had over two hundred and fifty students at the 100 level. However, when the scholarship scheme was reviewed so as to give only certain categories of students, the number of students that enrolled in the college was drastically reduced. This has been the situation till now. It is very clear that we cannot drive a revolution without people and in this case, without students. We must develop creative and innovative mechanisms that are sustainable, to get students by all means in order for us to fulfill the purpose for the establishment of Landmark University. This paper provides some insight into what we can do to increase the enrolment of students into the College of Agricultural Sciences in particular and Landmark University in general.
